About WellBeing For All Foundation

WellBeing For All Foundation is a registered charitable organization based in Ottawa, committed to providing a warm and welcoming reception, sustainable settlement, and harmonious integration for newcomers to Canada. We offer a comprehensive range of services, including orientation and referrals to settlement agencies, assistance with administrative procedures, online tax filing support, mentorship and community connection programs to reduce isolation, housing search support, access to essential furnishings, and personalized guidance to facilitate successful integration in Canada. In partnership with its collaborator The Caring and Sharing Exchange, the Foundation offers two programs for low-income families: - School supplies donations to support children’s educational success. - Christmas hampers and gift distribution to bring support and joy to families and children experiencing financial hardship. Specialized in Pre-Arrival immigration services, the Foundation supports a database of more than 6,000 candidates from French-speaking Sub-Saharan African countries seeking to immigrate to Canada as students, temporary workers, or permanent residents. Our mission places cultural, social, and professional inclusion at the center of our work, with a particular focus on Francophone immigrant women facing vulnerability, empowering them through meaningful support and pathways toward independence and long-term success.

Our Story

The creation of the Well-Being for All Foundation was born from a deep commitment to addressing the essential needs of newcomers to Canada. Aware of the significant challenges faced by individuals starting a new life in a foreign country, the founders felt a pressing need to provide holistic, compassionate, and accessible support. The Foundation was therefore established with a clear purpose: to accompany newcomers at every stage — from a warm and welcoming reception to sustainable settlement, all the way to harmonious integration — in order to facilitate their adaptation and personal growth within Canadian society. Its primary ambition is to ensure that every newcomer can settle with confidence, thrive, and build a new, stable, and fulfilling life. Specializing in Pre-Arrival immigration support, the Foundation works with candidates from French-speaking African countries wishing to immigrate to Canada as students, temporary workers, or future permanent residents. It assists them with job-search strategies, the preparation of Canadian-standard résumés and cover letters, and interview coaching. To date, the Foundation has helped three candidates obtain excellence scholarships from the Québec Métiers d’Avenir training centers, enabling them to study in Québec free of charge for the 2024–2025 school year. In addition, more than 20 candidates have secured employment contracts and work permits and are now in Canada with their families. The Foundation’s greatest achievement, however, lies in its support for candidates pursuing permanent residency. Since 2023, the Foundation has welcomed more than 1,500 families to Canada. This success has been achieved despite significant shortages in financial, material, and human resources. Its rapid growth demonstrates the relevance of its mission and the strength of its programs, which have become increasingly structured and responsive to the growing needs of newcomers. The Foundation has also built strong partnerships with government and community organizations to strengthen its impact and expand its services. Today, the Well-Being For All Foundation has become a major actor not only in Pre-Arrival immigration services but also in the reception, settlement, and integration of newcomers across Canada. It offers a wide range of services, including housing and furnishing assistance, cultural festivals, employability programs, social activities, and networking opportunities. This remarkable success is rooted above all in the exceptional dedication of its team of committed volunteers, whose involvement makes the Foundation’s mission possible. We extend our sincere gratitude to them and offer a heartfelt thank you for their devotion and generosity.
